KIK Review - What's So Cool About KIK?

In today's day and age, many people use text messaging and instant messaging and also social networking websites such as twitter and Facebook, to properly communicate with one another. With that being said, mobile devices has become this life enveloping device that our generation has grown accustomed to. Text messaging has become the foundation of how people communicate in our society. Many young teenagers and young adults text on day-to-day basis, young people in our country such as myself text so much that when you think of the word "teenager" you spontaneously think of the words text messaging, and vica versa. With mobile companies innovating phones that are structured around SMS communication, that will promote text messaging and ultimately convince users to purchase there unlimited texts messaging packages and etc..

There are still some old school mobile users out there that are very frugal with there cash, and do not feel at ease with paying for messaging packages that there respective mobile phone companies are shoving down there throats. Most people download instant messaging apps, such as AIM or Yahoo IM, Windows live messenger, and if you have a black berry then I'm pretty your familiar with BlackBerry Messenger. these are all good messaging services but have there draw backs and sometimes be very annoying for mobile phone users, but as future unfolds there's always new ideas that spring from brilliant entrepreneurs, some of these ideas are tad tacky, and some of these ideas are down right genius. This app is called "KIK"

KIK is a mobile application that s helps out mobile users by letting users send messages in a BBM (BlackBerry mobile)-like fashion. but it doesn't stop there, this application also allows you to send messages to any phone carrier that has SMS capabilities with the first 50 messages users send and receive being free. After that, the messages you send and receive will cost just $0.009, which is shy of a penny in this case. KIK takes measure to that there app users are not charged with international fees by giving its users a local number so that you or your friends won't have to pay any unrelated fees. The neatest thing about this app is that it informs you that a new message has arrived, and also when you send a message it will let you know if the message you sent was received by the recipient.

If your a BlackBerry user, then KIK wont downloadable for you, I believe the reason has to do with the fact that KIK was to similar to rim's bbm app and there territory felt threatened.
